The Executive Office for United States Trustees recently published two proposed rules for public comment in the Federal Register. These proposed rules concern: (1) the procedures and criteria for the approval of credit counseling agencies, and (2) final reports filed by trustees in cases under chapters 7, 12, and 13. The procedures for submitting comments are described in the rules, and the deadline for comments is April 1, 2008, for credit counseling and April 4, 2008, for the trustee final reports.
