Information for Financial Management Providers Effective 12/1/13

Tuesday, October 8, 2013

Effective December 1, 2013, Federal Rule of Bankruptcy Procedure 1007(b)(7) allows an approved personal financial management course provider to notify the Court directly when an individual debtor completes a post-petition instructional course concerning personal financial management.

To notify the Court of a debtor's course completion, an approved course provider must have a Personal Financial Management Course Provider CM/ECF Account with the Court and electronically file the debtor's personal financial management course completion certificate.

An application to establish a CM/ECF Personal Financial Management Provider Account with the Court is available at www.wyb.uscourts.gov.
